During my recent holiday in Martel, La Devinie truly captivated us with its charm and elegance. This historic house, adorned with tasteful art and beautiful spaces, provided a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication—ideal for those seeking both relaxation and inspiration. Our mornings were a delight, enjoying a scrumptious breakfast under the beautiful greenery of the garden, complete with homemade pastries and local cheese. Sylvie and Matthieu, the lovely hosts, were always eager to share their insights about the region, which made our explorations even more enriching. The serene ambiance was complemented by the shared lounge, which offered a lovely space to unwind after a day of hiking and discovering the picturesque surroundings. I particularly appreciated having a cozy sitting area in our room, perfect for curling up with a book—a nod to my love for literature. La Devinie felt like a home away from home, and I cannot wait to return with friends who share my passion for cultural experiences in stunning settings.
